Intellectual entrepreneurs

Individuals who live and work in the cultural circles between the Orient and the Occident are characterised by specific qualities: openness to the culture of others, roots in their own educational traditions, academic curiosity and the ability to listen, willingness to try new paths, a sense of research and adventure, generosity in sharing knowledge.

The founders of the German Oriental Society for Higher Education see themselves as intellectual entrepreneurs. We aim to network different educational traditions and the associated players, who wish to promote the creation of something new.
